Br 49 - Senior Accountant

Your ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing the daily activities of the general accounting department which includes monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts and financial statements, support of internal and external audit, tax package preparation, quarterly consolidation reporting and other ad hoc reporting requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Preparation and analysis of monthly journal entries and reportsParticipation in the monthly general ledger close and consolidation reporting to parent companiesCross collaboration with Finance department and individual branches for financial reviewsMaintains and reconciles balance sheet accounts which includes investigating and resolving account discrepanciesProvides support for audits and tax requestsRoutine accounting assignments including, but not limited to, review and coding of invoices received and/or preparing invoices for affiliatesCreate and maintain documentation on processes and procedures related to job responsibilitiesAbility to be a resource for and train staff members as well as facilitate cross-training among teamRecommends and implements ideas and innovations to improve upon existing systems, work processes and proceduresParticipates in cross functional teams to implement accounting solutions for new business activitiesMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies Your ProfileA successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to work with little to no supervision.
The individual should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business or related fieldKnowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and internal controls3-5 years of relevant experienceCertified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.
e.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
