Aviation Technical Systems Specialist

This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization, Mission Support Services, Western Service Area, Planning and Requirements Group (PRG), NAS Planning and Integration (NPI) Teams (AJV-W330). The PRG group is responsible for providing integrated planning, requirements management, and program implementation management support to assist Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Service Units, and other FAA organizations as requested, with implementing and managing ATO services and infrastructure within the Service Areas. The NPI Team serves as geographical/functional and regional focal point for NAS Implementation Planning and strategic integration analysis.As a Lead Planner, the incumbent applies experience and comprehensive technical knowledge while performing multiple, varying, and complex assignments. Performs ATO planning for a specific geographic boundary including planning, communicating assignments, milestones, and deadlines to the team based on supervisor's instructions.Serves as a Planning and Requirements Group (PRG) Lead for communication with external ATO customers including Airport Authorities, Airport District Offices, state and local governments, aviation authorities and any non -ATO entities. Performs regular meetings with airports to review development plans to identify future projects.Develops strategic portfolio plans including F&E, Ops, and external stakeholders projects that impact the NAS. Performs analysis of portfolio plans to identify integration opportunities, minimize cost, and minimize system and operational impacts. Develops recommended integrated portfolio plans and provide to all stakeholders for consideration.Establish internal FAA cross-functional teams for collaboration of strategic planning activities requiring coordination and integration of requirements and project across Service Units and external customers.Identify external stakeholder projects that will impact the NAS and lead the development of reimbursable agreements to mitigate the impacts. Perform oversight of ongoing reimbursable projects to identify potential issues.Provides leadership, training, oversight and guidance to planning specialists.Work is reviewed to ensure technical compliance and alignment with requirements. Work activities typically impact directly on the objectives of one or more major subdivisions or LOB's/SO's and may impact on the objectives of the FAA. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level of FV-I or FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
Technical experience with NAS programs, procedures, infrastructure, equipment and facilities. This includes the interrelationships between systems and facilities that provide the services necessary for the movement of aircraft within the NAS. Specialized experience may also include aviation technical knowledge gained through experience in the design, development, deployment, or performance of evaluations of systems or facilities that support the NAS. Experience with Project/Portfolio Management related to NAS programs or projects involving the integration and implementation of projects to improve efficiencies of resources utilized in fulfillment of work performed qualifies as specialized experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
