We participate in a wide variety of markets, from aerospace, to automotive, job shops to artistic applications. We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our manufacturing site near Seattle, WA.
Who You Are:
The Purchasing Manager will be the leader of the Purchasing team and will oversee the day-to-day purchasing-related operations. This position will also act as a lead buyer in high impact spend categories. This individual will integrate purchasing best practices and continuous improvement processes and provide leadership, management and oversight for the buyers.
You will:
Oversee the team's day-to-day operations; inclusive of category spend management, purchase /order procedures, cost control, and supplier relationship management.
Develop, implement, and enforce the appropriate strategies, policies and procedures for the timely procurement of goods at contracted costs and according to corporate spend matrices.
Establish and enforce internal audits and controls to standardize purchasing practices.
You Have:
Minimum 7 years of procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
Experience in direct factory manufacturing environment required.
Minimum 5 years of ERP system and purchasing technology tools.
Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Strong project and change management skills.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and supervisory skills.
Travel -some domestic and international travel, < 25%
Supervisory Responsibility: Yes, Buyers (5)
Standard office equipment
Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree / MBA a plus.
CPM, CPSM, or equivalent sourcing-related certification a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
