AdaQuest is hiring an enterprise lab manager, for our client in Kent, WA.
The person in this role is going to be involved with the design and support of the core enterprise compute, storage, and backup infrastructure at our client. This includes design, engineering, troubleshooting, maintenance and upkeep.
Qualifications, knowledge and skills:
This role requires a mix of broad technical knowledge, project management experience, strong analytic skills, a strategic vision, and a track record of delivering results.
The successful candidate will likely have at least 10 years of experience in QA environment.
Experience supporting engineering teams in an enterprise environment
Broad knowledge of Enterprise Infrastructure concepts and best practices
Open-minded, adaptable and passionate about innovation
Conversant in Release process, but not necessarily a Release Manager.
Understand automation in a sense that he/she will know what kind of tool they would need for the job.
This will be a person who understands infrastructure. For example: Solaris, HP. Windows, VMWARE and have some level of experience with CCM and Scom, and WebSphere. Besides taking care of all the environment data, this person will be interacting with 8 business units at our client, so having strong interpersonal skills in addition to being tech savvy is a must.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a good relationship with technical and business partners
Deliver scalable and highly available infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
Responsible for Enterprise Compute, Storage, Backup, and Virtualization technologies
Maintain and improve practices and capabilities
Own infrastructure projects from end to end.
