Responsibilities:
Leads efforts to analyze SatCom terrestrial network service architecture and recommends design solutions that are aligned with industry-leading or best practices to lower costs along with being knowledgeable of national and international technology standards in regulated and non-regulated environmentsPerforms leadership role to develop, design, integrate, and deploy Palo Alto appliances and Cisco VXLAN fabrics in a variety of data center and SatCom remote environmentsUtilizes cross-team collaboration to build policies for Network Infrastructure deployments with a focus on efforts to address concerns in Service Architecture, Incident detection, incident handling, and vulnerability managementLeads and coordinates high-level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projectsMentors technical staff and management on Industry best practices and technology standards improvementsLeads and performs the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services (e.g., wireless, data, voice, video, cable, wire) based on customer goals, objectives, cost, and security constraints to lead the design processLeads and performs implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plansCreates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards to meet customer requirements, using design templates and standard implementation packagesPrepares, deploys, and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages per customer standardsWork side by side with team leadExpected to be onsite Monday - FridayWilling to cover on-call shifts, including weekends and after-hours
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g
Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g
PhD 4 years' related work experience, Master 7 years of related work experience, 13 years of related work experience, etc)Secret Security Clearance15 years of experience with the Design, Implementation, and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)15 years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations15 years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols5 years of experience with written and verbal communication and presentationsExtensive experience with Palo Alto firewall implementations

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
