Chief Software Architect (Top Secret) with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Chief Software Architect to support a high visibility program for Rapid Space Capabilities in Kent, WA.
The team is seeking an experienced software architect to guide the team in deploying innovative experimental products necessitating highly-advanced approaches to achieve never-before-attempted missions.

M-FR SOH, 9/80 schedule optional Responsibilities of the Chief Software Architect:
Independent technical Subject Matter Expert, developing sophisticated software architecture for unique, first-in-type satellite systems Lead development and documentation of satellite-wide software requirements and software interfaces for open-ended mission profiles Define Software Development and Verification Plans in order to deliver high-assurance, certified flight software Ensure compliance with all Software Quality, Product Security, and Enterprise Design Practices throughout the software lifecycle Resolve sophisticated and seamless software interactions between satellite bus, power and thermal systems, communications and encryption, command and data handling, guidance and navigation, on-board autonomy, ground control, mission operations, and systems duplications Advise program customers on system-level architecture; establish and maintain frequent and open communication with key partners Lead software research and development projects Author tech-volumes and advise proposal activities across multiple product linesQualifications of the Chief Software Architect:
Secret required, TS/SCI strongly desired Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 14
years of experience in developing architecture and embedded real-time software 10
years experience with embedded software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and testing.

years of experience with C+

years demonstrated ability working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) Experience with configuration management and collaboration tools such as (or similar to) Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare, and VersionOne Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile Scrum methodologyCompensation for the Chief Software Architect:
o Salary Range:
$175,000 - $195,000
