Organic coating includes the application and testing of multiple resin systems such as epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes, polyesters, elastomerics, intumescents, lacquers, alkyds, acrylics, dry-film lubricants, powder coatings and Teflon.

Position
Summary:
The Faclities Maintenance Manager will conduct analysis to identify and implement continual improvement activities; and represent the Company with our customers, suppliers, and certifying agencies.
Reporting Relationships:
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will report to the Plant Manager.
Primary Duties &
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the integrity of all processing tanks are maintained in the highest order and reporting any discrepancies to both Production and Quality Management Ensuring the mechanical equipment, i.
e.
the overhead crane, air compressors, company-owned vehicles, air lines, etc.
are maintained in good, safe, working order at all times Working with outside contractors, as authorized, to maintain the working condition of company-owned equipment Providing assistance to the Lab Tech with solution analyses and chemical additions as directed by Production and Quality Management Maintaining the cleanliness of paint booths and filters as required Ensuring the safety of the processing and office areas at all times, i.

inspection of duck boards, air lines, water lines, etc.
and repair those items as required and/or directed by Production and/or Quality Management Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination by forklift or crane.
Operates forklift or crane to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
Picks up debris from plant grounds and maintains area Loads/unloads materials onto/from pallets, barrels, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift Operates forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products Proficient in Level 1 Confined Space Forklift Operation Basic Cleaning Tools (Broom, Push Broom, Shovel, Mop, etc.
) Area Cleanliness/Organization (6S) Meets Productivity Goals Follow Instructions Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with supervisors, other employees of the Company.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Regularly required to walk and talk or hear, push, pull and lift.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Frequently is required to sit or stand, reach with hands and arms, and balance.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently exposed to airborne particles.
Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must have plumbing & electrical experience Required
Experience:
Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Good analytical/critical thinking Level of Education:
BS/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
