Maintenance Assistant - Full Time
Kent, WA Kent, WA Full-time Full-time From $18 an hour From $18 an hour Weatherly Inn is looking for the right candidate to fill a Full Time position as a Maintenance Assistant in our beautiful Memory Care community.
Schedule is typically Monday through Friday 7:
30am-4pm, however could require occasional evening hours depending on various projects.
The right individual is dependable, flexible, conscientious, teachable, a team player and must have a clean background.
Experience working with/around the senior population is a plus.

Qualifications Education:
GED or High School Graduation preferred.
Experience:
1 year experience with working knowledge of all facility equipment, machines, fire systems, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and landscaping preferred.
Licenses:
Wa.
State Driver License and no driving infractions for past 3 years.
Proficient in use of power tools and internal building system repair and maintenance.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Learn to know special needs of residents and report changes in behavior (physical or emotional) to nursing.
Be familiar with and follow Employee Handbook, Performance Expectations and specific job duties.
Able to receive/return routine phone calls from TWI within 24 hours; urgent within 4.
Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to maintenance or supervisor.
Report immediately any on the job injury to supervisor or charge nurse.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Available for scheduled on-call duties.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Working knowledge of all systems, including electrical, air conditioning, fire safety, water and sewage, plumbing, electrical and emergency.
Complete and document work orders and scheduled work as instructed, reporting any problems to supervisor.
Mow lawn, trim hedges, blow leaves and debris, edge perimeters, prune trees to 15 feet, weed flower beds, clean roof and gutters, as needed.
Pick up and dispose of garden debris in approved manner, keeping the grounds looking great at all times.
Power wash structures and walkways.
Assist and learn to back up maintenance director.
