Benefits typically reserved for large groups Freedom of provider choice Services to help employees become more informed healthcare consumers Job Responsibilities As a sales consultant you will build new agent/broker relationships within your assigned territory. Your goal is to increase annual premium sales by contacting and educating brokers on our products. You will be viewed as a subject matter expert to brokers in the self-funded world of health insurance. Ongoing activities include:
Market Starmark Group Medical plans to independent agents within an assigned territory and produce sales results. Visit agents and/or customers up to 20% of the time or when possible. Advise Agents on Starmark products, workflow (enrollment options and underwriting processes) and administrative guidelines. Follow up on all Starmark proposals/sales opportunities. Recommend the appropriate combination of Starmark products. Required Skills Highly motivated, organized and competitive person with excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) skills. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Desire to learn, apply proven sales techniques and build relationships. Strong time management skills Three plus years selling small group medical plans in an established territory Strong knowledge of level funded and self-funded small group medical plans Active Life and Health License Experience Preferred Bachelor's degree and/or minimum three years successful sales experience selling small group medical plans Analytical and consultative sales skills. Established broker relationships in your market Highly competitive and driven to be the best
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
